Re: [IPk] Re: pump holidays



Hi All
thanks for all the encouragement!  I have previously been able to maintain
good control on MDI so I guess the holiday should be ok, but after a year on
the pump I am very nervous and will probably feel naked without it!!

Does anyone know if you should go straight back to the regime you were
previously on (insulatard at night and humalog before meals) ? or start off
gradually with a lower dose of insulatard ? Also I seem to remember taking
much larger humalog injections before meals than the humalog boluses on the
pump (eg 6 units instead of 3).
