RE: [IPp] Novolog vs. humalog

We switched from Humalog to Novolog about a month before our pump start.
For the most part they worked similarly with Helena. The main difference
has been that the Novolog seems to work slower (mostly done in 3-4 hours)
for her than Humalog did (mostly done in 2-3 hours). Depending on the
what's eaten and when the bolus is given, this can be a good or bad thing.

She always gets 3 days from her site with Novolog, and several times we have
gone a fourth day (bad parents :) ) and have never had a problem. We never
pumped with Humalog, so I don't know whether it would have been any
different in that respect.

We recently switched from humalog to novolog,
...snip...
Does the novolog last longer in the system than the
humalog?
