RE: [IPp] National Diabetes Awareness Month

Ryan,
Hats off to you!!! How refreshing to hear this right from the diabetic
themselves. One of my kids (age 11) says all the kids stare at her when she
needs to eat during class. I tell her they are just jealous because they think
her snacks lood good and they aren't allowed to have any!!
Thanks for sharing!

Jamie, mom to Zachary(13) dx at age 12, Cleo (11) dx at age 8, Jamison(8) and
Addalyn(1 1/2).

Hi Cammy -
My name is ryan and i'm helping my parents learn how to use this website. As a
16 year old boy, i can tell you that i get strange looks when i test in the
class. My classmates look because they don't know and the teacher acts kinda
wierd. I just want to jump up and say i have diabetes and i need this to stay
alive. But I would probably get introuble.

Hi Cammy,
Canada's BGs readings (like most of Europe and Australia / New Zealand) is
in MMols. To workout equivalents divide US BGs by 18. (
