[IPp] continuous glucose monitor, your experience using
I have had my son using the continuous glucose monitor from minimed and was
very excieted at first with the readings etc. however had a couple experiences
where we caliberated it at noon one time and at 2 am we got several readings
saying he was low and so we treated and then when we tested because his numbers
did not come up he was really 450. They say it will last 7 days however clinical
trials will say 3 days it was very accurate and then day 4,5,6 the accuracy
drops. Now my son is a teen who does not like to test at this time in his life
and therefore I am hesitant to use the monitor.
Any others have experiences with the moniotr?

Common chemicals pose danger for fetuses, scientists warn
Please take a look at this article and tell me what you think.

According to this article scientists warn that exposure to common
chemicals makes babies more likely to develop an array of health
problems later in life including diabetes, ADD, prostate cancer,
fertility issues.. "Chemicals with evidence of developmental effects
include compounds with plastics, cosmetics and pesticides."
For those people that are trying to have more children - How do we
avoid these chemicals?
