Hugs to you and your family.   What a horrible thing to have to go through.  
:(  Have you thought of using say honey or perhaps cake icing instead of 
 juice? Might save you some headaches as far as struggling with her. Its strange
sometimes it seems like our kids produce just tiny bits of insulin to make 
their sugars drop so quickly like that.  Did she have any vigorous activities 
yesterday.  How is she holding up today?
