Re: [IPp] field trips

Hi Karen

We have no nurses in our school and no one who will even take training to
help us with our kids. I go on the field trips when they are young and even
will once they are teens, depending on how far away and what they are doing.
My daughter 12 wants mom around (for now) but I don't go to alot unless I
feel unsure about where she will be and what they will be doing.

Ask questions about how long away, what activities and how many adults pre
child. Make sure you send along a bag of snacks juices and whatever makes
you feel safe. Ask your child if they want you there or not too as that also
makes a difference.

Go with your "gut" instinct as you know your child better than anyone else.
And if you do go, enjoy the time together as they grow up way too fast.
