Sorry to contradict Shelley on this...

The Dexcom7 can now calibrated by any meter.. it no longer needs to upload
from a One Touch Ultra..

The Dexcom sensors actually last around 10 to 11 days (although guaranteed
for 7).. so costs are comparable.

I also wonder about the Navigator technology...why did it literally take
years to get FDA approval, yet the Dexcom got approval so quickly? Aren't
they now marketing a machine that the technology is already 4 years old?

The Dexcom receiver is very light and easy to carry around. The Dexcom
sensor is smaller and flatter and easier to wear.
