Charlie,

I agree with Karen regarding the Animas and the basal rates.  My son 
Benjamin was diagnosed at 2 and req'd the lowest settings possible.  I still 
find the ability to adjust his basal in tiny increments VERY helpful.  I 
also understood that the Animas was the only waterproof pump which has saved 
us several times when Ben decided on his own to wash it or see if it would 
float in the bathroom sink.
