When Lily was a young teen, the pump got stashed in a locker for the 
day except for lunch and snacks. The activity seemed to keep her bg's 
about right without her pump. Kids burn an enormous amount of energy + 
the effects of cool water adds to it. Test every hour or so and just 
have fun.
