Re: [IPp] Intensive Insulin Therapy



Pat,

My son (14) was dx 4/01.  At first he was on 2 shots a day (Humolog/NPH),
but is BG was awful, plus the eating to cover the insulin was terrible.
Then he went to MDI, anywhere from 4-7 a day.  We, also, tried Lantas for a
while.  It wasn't until he got on the pump that his BG inproved and so did
his health and energy.  Thank God for the pump!!!!
