RE: [IPp] Portable Sharps Container?

Funny this should come up. Yesterday my 9 yr old felt really guilty in telling
me she accidentally opened up a new test strip bottle and threw them in the
garbage thinking they were her bottle of used test strips. Why didn't I think of
labeling the bottle sooner???? Thanks for the idea!!

Insulin Pumpers is made possible by your tax deductible contributions.
Your donation of $10, $25, or more... just $1 or $2 per month is
needed so that Insulin Pumpers can continue to serve you and the rest
of the diabetes community. Please visit:

Your annual contribution will eliminate this header from your IP mail

My son is in the 2nd grade and I put an old test strip vial that I rip the
label off and write used strips in black marker on it and that is where he puts
his used strips. He uses the same lancet all day at school and I change that
every night. I empty out the used stips vial every other day at home. The old
strips vial is perfect for this as it is really small and fits in his testing
kit nicely.
