Everyone in your group has to get a fast pass at the ride you are choosing
to use it.  It will give you a designated time to come back to the ride and
use the pass...which will let you ahead of many others currently in line.
you can only have one ride's passes at a time though.  The passes are handed
out at little machines at each ride that accepts them and the times are in
LED above the gate of the ride to let you know what time they are now
accepting so you know when to return and get on.  This probably sounds
convoluted but it isn't hard to do.  the most important thing I wanted to
know was were they free!  and they are!  they aren't special tickets you
purchase, but rather vouchers at each ride that tends to have long lines.
