Re: [IPp] Pelikan Sun
Jesse, 15, has been using it on and off since the CWD FFL conference last
summer. They were offering a study at the conference and he chose to
participate.
His likes about it :
It doesn't hurt his fingers. I tried it and felt a very
minimal sting when testing
He likes the shiny gold color and that its a cool device
His dislikes :
He usually tests on his arms and you cant do it with the
Pelikan sun.
Its very big and bulky- and doesn't want to take it out of
the house. I doesn't fit in his pocket.It measures 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 inches and is
heavy.
He got bored with the techiness of it rather quickly.
I personally don't think it's worth the $200 , they want for it. Unless your
insurance will pay for it, I wouldn't bother.....

Does anyone use the Pelikan Sun lancing device? It appears that it's
finally available in the US. It costs about $200 to buy and at this stage
is probably not covered by insurance. The device allows you to control the
depth of the piercing very accurately which is good for your finger's
health.
If anyone is using it and won't mind sharing your experience, I would
appreciate it.
Thanks.
