RE: [IPp] Target Blood Sugar

When she has a 90 BS and when you see the correction on the Estimate Details
screen - is the correction number a negative number? As long as it is,
then it is working with the target you have set. Anything less than the
target, should have a negative correction - meaning it subtracts out insulin
to cause a rise in BG (in theory). Obviously, Other factors are involved
in BG falling below the target -

Thank You,

Can anyone answer a question for me?? We are using the Minimed 512 and have
target blood sugar as 140. When my daughter eats a meal and uses the bolus
wizard--let's say she has a blood sugar of 90-which is good, I know. My
is, I thought the pump was supposed to make adjustments for getting her
sugar closer to her target range--but I think it has always gone solely on
insulin/carb ratio that we have programmed. Hope this makes sense.
