Re: [IPp] RE: pop-digest V1 #809

Hi Rebecca
Our 10yr old used saline for 1 week but it was not decision tool but in
preparation for insulin 1 week later. We used the time to find comfortable
ways to wear it/place in bed, and to practise using functions and site
changes. She put sites into myself and my husband that we wore for 3 days.
She spent the week anticipating the moment when she could stop injecting.
After 1 week she went onto insulin and we haven't looked back.
Will you be able to give your daughter a date for the move to insulin at the
time of the 'trial'.

Liz mum to Eleanor, 10, (dx 11/ 2002) pumping novorapid with minmed 512 and
6mm Quicksets since 20/10/04,
and to Hannah 7.5 (dairy and soya intolerant) and George 4 (dairy, soya and
gluten intolerant)
