Re: [IPp] quickset broken tube

we had the same problem happen to us with the quicksets and many other problems so we switched to the sils and they work great, although Ryan doesn't like them. The quicksets were always falling out, or cracking in the tubing where you described, or the cannulas were getting bent and occluding. With the sils, he is able to use them for 3 days before changing and we haven't had any problems like with the quicksets. I called minimed and they took back the remainder of the quicksets and sent us the sils to replace them. The paradigm is a good pump andwe are happy with it but the quicksets were not good for us.

I think I remember reading about this a few weeks ago. And if I remember it
was a Paradigm and a quickset.
I changed the subject line (don't want to put Paradigm, people will think
I'm bashing the pump) so maybe someone will notice and remember.

Subject: [IPp] Interesting one?
Hey all,
We had an interesting thing happen at school today with Jeffrey's pump. The
nurse called and said that his tubing had broken off right above where it
connects to the resevoir. Have any of you experienced this? This was a new
set, just changed out on Monday. We use the Paradigm, and quick sets.
Thanks.
