We have not had that problem and our camp instructors obviously don't worry
about it either.  I know a few who do this and never report any differences
in BG from doing it or not doing it.  I think if I was going to be in the
swimming pool/lake etc...I would wear it just from a germ stand point, but
in his own tub/shower...not worried.

I worry about water getting in the site or the insulin in the canula
washing out.

Should I not concern myself with that?

Regarding the button covers...we know many people who do not use the
button covers...and camps that don't as well.  I've never heard of a
problem regarding this and we haven't used them for baths/showers in
awhile either. I figure they are so hard to manipulate and that much
tugging and pulling on a site cannot be good for it either.  Not saying
it is a good idea, but saying that people do choose not to do the button
covers on quicksets.  Just FYI
