What state are you in?? Maybe you can ease the process by falling 
back on state law that requires coverage of necessary diabetes 
supplies. This may shorten the fight. Second, contact DIRECTLY the 
medical director's office for the insurance company as well as the 
most senior appeals person you can get a hold of. Don't settle for a 
clerk, try to get someone that reports directly to some VP. 
The medical directors office should be able to get an answer 
for you. Also ask for the name of the contact person for
"Agent for Service of Process". Explain the problem and that 
you are really tired of the run-around and if they make it necessary 
for you to jump through hoops again you will take the matter to both 
the press and the insurance commissioners office. Since they have 
approved the pump, I expect that unless they want a lot of egg on 
their face, you will find expiditious service.
