Re: [IP] Tandem X2 - Quick Bolus question

Hi Vern,

Thanks for your reply.

I definitely agree on reading the alerts when possible however not while
giving the quick bolus.

My understanding is that someone would only use Quick bolus feature when he's
not able to see / or doesn't want to take out the pump - for whatever reason.

Nonetheless, I found a workaround for Tandem pump to increase the high alert
notification value so that I can give quick bolus without the need to read the
notification about the BG values going high.

Thanks,
Rupesh

Subject: [IP] Tandem X2 - Quick Bolus question

I don't like having to read the alerts but don't you think that you want to
read the message to see that the pump is out of insulin or that there is a
blockage?

I'm on my forth pump with the quick bolus, I found that the quick bolus
function is equal in ease to use. Yes it slightly different then my easiest
to use as my Cozmo pump.

One question, why would anyone try to hide the fact that they use an insulin
pump?
