What cant you just pull the cartridge syringe back to 300 
Shoot that in the vial and draw out 300 ?  

That way there is never a low pressure

I've been using Disetronic and Animas pumps since 1998 and have been
applying the "John Neale" method of filling and hardly ever have an issue
with bubbles.
