 People are willing to have two things poking into their skin and attached to
them at all times (pumpers using CGMS) and even so, many still have a lot of
highs & lows. If that implantable artificial pancreas does work out, I would be
more than willing to inject a little air into a port once a day to keep it
going. This artificial pancreas sounds way more appealing than the trials going
on now with traditional pumps + CGMS.
