RE: [IP] Re: I can't make my pump say all that

In hindsight I should've put a smiley face in there, but that sounded exactly
like the kind of things I've said when I'm really low. That's usually when I
know I need to go test. :)

When I was on Humalog I actually had good success coming out of a low just by
suspending my pump. It would usually take 30 minutes to an hour, so I could only
use it when I was not doing anything productive or had woken up in the middle of
the night from a low. I also learned to use it to help reduce the amount of
carbs I would need to take to recover from the low.

I do record all my BGs in the pump, whether or not I take a bolus. It makes it
easier for my doctor to review my BGs since I have so many meters.

Um. Thank you, Adam. I did not mean to be a smart ass. I appreciate your
help, and you taking my message in the spirit in which it was offered: low
and confused

Thanks again! The CDE reads the print outs from my pump with the finest of
fine toothed combs, and my mind went off during the low.
