[IPu] Detemir (or Levemir) by Novo
Hi All,
Novo Nordisk have advised that Detemir (the Novo equivalent to Lantus)
has been registered in Australia for use. Next step is top have it approved
for PBS listing (as Welcome are attempting with Lantus). Novo advise that
clinical trials of Detemir have been conducted at major teaching Hospitals
in most Australian States. They have offered to update me for IP as details
of release become available.
So, if you are seeking a "pump holiday" you will soon have a choice re
another
long acting 24 hour insulin.
