Thanks for that link. With the rapid we just prime until insulin drips out the
end of the needle before we insert it. As the needle is metal we just push it
in
and it is ready to go!! We have never tried the tenders - the look of them
frightens me abit!!!

If you go into the main www.insulin-pumpers.org and look up FAQ
"How to tell if my Infusion set is the Cause of my High BGs"
1.6 "You've recently changed your Infusion set" is useful.
Then I suggest copying some of this off and providing it as "light reading"
to your Educator / Endo. It's from the experts (us Pumper users 24/7, 365
days a year). You infuse a small amount of Insulin to fill the new cannula
(rapid) right ? (I use .6 to infuse a new sil / tender / comfort cannula).
