Hi Janette - yes I have days like that, and also the opposite. I don't know 
what I would do without a pump! It is the only way I can really keep things 
on an even keel. But, just as you say, I will have days when my BGs keep 
dropping and I keep having to take corrective action, in spite turning the 
pump 'down'. We had a thread some time ago about supermarket shopping and 
hypos - and for some reason that does lower the BGs as well! Depending on 
the time of day I will often switch the basal rate to 1/2 while shopping. 
It's the days when the BGs go high that bother me. It doesn't seem to matter 
what I do, Even if I get them down they will go up again! The nature of the 
beast I guess.
