RE: [IPu] Flu Shot ?

Hi

Yes, I have a flu shot every year. Why? It is free for those with chronic
conditions (ie diabetes) and for those 65 yrs old and over. I have no
adverse effects from the flu shot (a few people do). It is a further
safeguard helping to lessen the likelihood of getting flu. As we all know,
any infection interferes with BG management.

Chris

p.s. As far as I know there are no large flu outbreaks in New Zealand,
however there are a lot of common colds about, some very persistent. A lot
of people say they have the 'flu' when what they actually have is a 'bad
cold'.
