[IPu] Fw: [IP] Apidra

Hi All,
2nd try .....
I don't expect we'll see this in AUS/NZ for a year or so.
But useful to see it's effect on other Pumpers. It would be useful to have
a third analogue available as an option for those of us who have
expiriended
alergic reactions .........

Subject: [IP] Apidra

Hi - I've been using Apidra for a month now. I got it from my endo as they
won't be released to the pharmacy until February. For me it is not as strong
as Novolog or Humalog. Similar time action although I found it takes a while
to
get going when you change your set. This is the third short acting insulin
 I've tried in my Paradigm 512 over a 3 1/2 year period. I seem to develop a
sensitivity-autoimmune reaction to insulin at the insertion site. The site
gets hard and red and shuts down prematurely. Hope this one lasts a little
longer for me.
