 Not the case for me. I was diagnosed Celiac in the 70s & I stick to a rigorous
gluten free diet.
 Every few years the doc restests to make sure I am doing as good a job as I
think, & I've
never shown up positive. 

But all T1s should be tested at regular intervals.
