Re: [IP] Just Got Thrown Out of a Doctor's Office

I will only see the doctor when I go to any doctor's office. I have had it
with PA's, CDE's, and any kind of assistant. I have tried two different
PA's in my endo's office and they have both given me very incorrect
information. I am so happy that I read a lot and go to diabete's meetings
so that I know when I'm getting incorrect info.

I would call the office manager, tell her what happened and let her know
that you will be reporting this to the Medical Examiner's office and you
may be surprised out how quickly you get an apology. I once did this and
the doctor called me to apologize. They hate it when you report them,
because they have to fill out tons of paper work.

I had a very bad experience just a couple of months ago with the PA at my
endo's office (doc was out of town). I was in the hospital and the PA
ignored my call. I talked to the office manager and the doc when I was
better and he said this was inexcusable and from now on I need to just call
the office manager and where ever the doc is, she will get hold of him by
text and he will make sure things are handled properly.

You've got to have chutzpah in this world. Susan
