Re: [IP] ups - MiniMed Deliveries

I have a note on file with FedEx authorizing them to leave all deliveries at
the front door. With this new policy of MiniMed's, you (or someone)
actually have to be present when you're signing for the delivery, you can't
leave a note or sign the "attempted delivery" slip. The drivers can't do
anything about it. This is something that just started with MM in the past
6 months or so. Prior to that, all deliveries were left without signature
required, including pumps. The first time they did it with my supplies, had
I know ahead of time, I would've made different arrangements to have them
delivered to my work. Since I only work part-time, on certain days of the
week, I don't have that as a permanent delivery address. I completely
understand being present to sign for something as valuable as a pump, but I
would hate to have to drive to the local FedEx office to pick up two
replacement reservoirs (see earlier posts).
