Re: [IP] appetite suppressants

This may seem like a dumb question, but when you get these hunger pangs do
you check your blood sugar? When I feel pangs like that, my BG is usually
starting to go low. In fact that's usually the first symptom I feel of a
low and I've learned not to ignore it. If I've eaten in the past couple of
hours and feel hungry, my BG is usually high (over 200) because of a
miscalculation of carbs. If your BG is in range most of the time and you're
feeling this hungry, maybe it's the type of food you're eating? I find that
if I eat a lower-carb, higher protein diet, I eat less and my appetite is
controlled between meals. I also have better BG's. Before I was diagnosed
with Diabetes, I ate a high carb diet and was more hungry more often. This
is just me though, YMMV.
