Lilly has made no Buffered insulin nor insulin FDA-approved for pumps - as
yet. The only two insulins FDA approved for pumps are Velosulin and Novolog.
Also, Nordisk (before merging with Novo) put buffering in the Velosulin
(Velosulin BR) because of occlusions. Velosulin at that time was pure pork.
There were fewer infections using it. Lilly's Regular insulin was beef/pork.
