[IP] Vitamin C & BG readings

In a previous posting, someone mentioned that testing your BG shortly after
taking Vitamin C could affect the way the meter reads the BG--does that mean
that the reading you get on the meter is incorrect or does it mean that
Vitamin C can actually make the BG rise? ---so if someone takes a multi-vitamin
with a high dose of Vitamin C in it, could their meter be giving them a count
that is incorrectly high and you could possibly take insulin you didn't need
go low?
