Because many members have real problems and concerns, they need some place 
to express their honest feelings. Being a support group means support for 
everyone, not just those who have happy thoughts. Also, expressing fears 
and venting actually can help many people better deal with their problems. 
Everyone is different and handles their problems differently. Just telling 
someone, who is genuinely upset, to just think positively doesn't really 
address the underlying causes and won't change their feelings. On the 
contrary, it can be interpreted as a rejection of their heartfelt emotions.

If you don't think you can be a part of the support for people who express 
this type of emotion, please just delete those messages.
