How freaky...me too. I was waking up in the middle of the night with the
frozen/numb hands. Eventually wore wrist brace (both left and right) to bed.
It helped for a while but finally did the cortisone-surgery thing. Good as
new now...they said tendonitis...the cause...who knows?

I had the same problem.  They thought Carpal, then developed wrist
tendinitis
and trigger fingers.  Now they attribute all of it to thyroid disease.
