Yep! Metal detectors at amusement parks.  I've been to 2 this summer that had
them.  The Great Escape in Lake George New York and Great Adventure in Jackson
New Jersey.  They are both Six Flags properties... as is the Six Flags New
England in Massachusetts that we are planning on going to soon.
Kind of makes your mind swirl.. doesn't it?

  Say it isn't so!!!  I'm doubting your honesty.  I am just incredulous that
  amusement parks would be using metal detectors.  I someone afraid that  a
  terrorist is going to hijack "Space Mountain"?
