Re: [IP] Night Sweats
Sasha,
I'm curious to know what you mean by "they do not happen if I
decide to wake up and take a 3am sugar reading." Do you mean you set an
alarm or just happen to wake up? Maybe you need to do 2am and 3am checks
for several nights in a row to truly see how you're running, or see if your
endo will do a CGMS run. If these don't reveal anything, then maybe a GYN
check-up with blood test for estrogen level would be indicated.
Perimenopause symptoms can start early for some ladies. Maybe this article
will shed some light on a possible cause:
MENOPAUSE IN TYPE 1 DIABETIC WOMEN: IS IT PREMATURE?
Women with type 1 diabetes have a delayed menarche and a greater
prevalence of menstrual disorders than women without diabetes.
