[IP] (Fwd) Diabetes on Radio!!

Long time Dallas volunteer, journalist Bill Zeeble, has done a series on
diabetes for Public Radio that you all will want to hear. His wife Nicole Le
Blanc (also a fabulous volunteer and advocate) provides the details below:

Hi y'all,

Some of you may know that Bill was selected as recipient of a sizeable
grant from the Kaiser Family Foundation to do a series of stories on
diabetes. So far he has made several trips to the Rio Grande Valley,
San Antonio, Houston, and Phoenix. He is doing a great job on this
subject and, of course, he has a deeper perspective and curiosity than
other reporters might because he suffers from the disease himself.

Four stories will air next week as a series called "Diabetes: A Ticking
Time Bomb" on KERA 90.1 FM in Dallas. The stories will air Monday
10/2 through Thursday 10/5 at 6:20am and repeat at 8:20am Central
Time. If you do not live in Dallas/Ft. Worth area, you can listen live
online at <http://www.kera.org>. I think there is a microphone icon or
something you click on to listen live and there should be a link to
download any needed software. Your last option (if you can't listen) is to
read the transcripts, which will also be on the website after each story
has aired.

Hope you can listen or read--it will be very informative. If you know
anyone else who might be interested, please let them know!
