Re: [IP] Can Insulin go bad???

What is interesting to me is that different people report such different
experiences with Humalog. 

Some say it goes bad in 3 days in the pump, others, 5 days, and others
longer than that. Some people say it goes bad in 28 days if kept in the
fridge, and others say it keeps indefinitely in the fridge. Some say it
keeps for a long time OUT of the fridge. 

The difficulty with anecdotal evidence is that you don't know what the
other factors were in the situation that led to someone's having high
BGs -- it may  or may NOT have been the insulin. Note I'm not saying it
was or wasn't, just that we don't know. 

I wonder if there is any authoritative research that is more specific.
