Just happen to have gotten my policy in the mail last week from Aetna.  We 
have what's called the "Direct Access HMO Plan."  What this means is that you 
can go to specialists with a referral hand-written by your primary care at 
his/her discretion and it doesn't have to be approved by a board, like some 
I've had before.  Had to use this option today when I poked myself in the eye 
with the corner of a bag of dog food, (pretty silly huh??).  My primary care 
was able to send me to my opthomolgist in the same day without waiting for 
all that messy paperwork. 

My durable medical equipment is listed under "Optional Benefits", so yours 
may be different.  But I was excited that there is NO deductible on it, 
copayment is listed as $0, annual maximum says "unlimited".

Tomorrow I need to find out how to order pump supplies, but I think they'll 
pay for them.  I let you know what I find out.
