Julie, Everready says that batteries can be kept in the fridge, and will
last longer if the room temp gets consistently too hot (over 90?).   They
don't recommend keeping them in the freezer though.  For most of us, I
don't think there is much difference if you keep them at any reasonable
room temp, i.e., not much above 80.   But it surely doesn't hurt to keep
them in the fridge.

<I've never heard that pump batteries last longer in the fridge.  Does a
<lower temp really make them last all that much longer?
