RE: [IP] Question about Federal Employee Blue Cross Blue Shield
Call BCBS. Or call CCS and speak to a supervisor. A supply company
cannot dictate how often you go should to the doctor. In fact the
supply company only bills you for what the BCBS allows. I changed from
CCS because they charged me more for my 3 month supply then I have ever
paid before.

Subject: [IP] Question about Federal Employee Blue Cross Blue Shield
I have a quick question and thought maybe someone might know something.
We
have Federal Employee (FEP) BCBS and I got a call from CCS Medical today
wanting info. to be able to send my supplies. They said they have to
send my
supplies every 3 months, instead of monthly now. That is testing
supplies,
pump supplies and insulin have always been set up for every 3 months.
Anyway
they said they are going to have to start billing like they do their
medicare
patients. Would that be right? She asked when my last dr. appointment
was and
I told her the end of July, and have another early Feb. I know that's
more
than 6 months, but that is the appointment they gave me at my last
visit.
Anyway, she goes on to say that I may have to go sooner because I am
required
to go more than that. I've always have gone every 6 months for as long
as I
can remember, unless I wasn't doing very good. Any thoughts on this, and
has
anyone else experienced this? I am pretty upset right
now with all the so called changes taking place. Though I wonder if
they even
had me as their right person, because they had my Dr. name wrong.
Strange!!
Thanks for any help.
