Hi Laura,

I would definitely advise seeing a doctor.  Besides the possibility of
carpal tunnel, there is also a possibility of subscapular bursitis, or
tenosynovitis -- both of which I have had and required different treatments
for each.

But, definitely if you are in pain, then see about getting it fixed!
