That's what the consensus seems to be - that Halle
Berry has T1b (when it's been discussed here and on the
CWD list at times.)

T2's can go into ketoacidosis if they become ill, but
it's not typical of most T2s. There is a T2 kid in our
support group who uses oral meds...unless she is ill,
when she sometimes also has to use insulin to avoid

Just a thought. Doesn't seem like she would be a Type 2
because of the DKA. But if she were a Type 1A, she
would still need insulin.
