RE: [IP] In Search of code keys for Accu chek

Let me explain how one could lose a code key.

First off, I get strips in boxes of 100. Two vials of 50. There is only one
key in each box. I keep one vial of strips with the meter and the other
somewhere else. When my meter is lost or stolen, which in this case was
stolen, the key was in the meter. Now, I am left without a key for the other
vial. So, I called Roche and they said they cannot send me keys because the
strips have expired. So, guess I will be tossing these strips in the
garbage.

Next question: How important are the expiration dates on Strips? And do
people, other than me, use strips that have expired?

Cheers,

Andy J.

I have been using Accu Chek Advantage meters for ten years now. I can't
imagine how one could lose a code key therefore I have never saved one.
