Re: [IP] Meters and their Software

Accu-Chek has their compass software (cost around $75). This can be used by
the Accu-Chek Complete meter ($$$$) comes with the software and the required
serial cable. Others in their line include the Active and Compact that
interface to a computer via IR (infrared). The good news is that Accu-Chek
has a serial cable which provides the infrared port. It costs around $30 but
you would need to obtain the Accu-Chek Compass software..

Medisense also has software for their Precision line. The software only works
up toand including Windows 2000 (no XP). This does not seem to be your
problem with an older system.

Lifescan, as you know has their software and cables. Since you said you have
been using this brand of meter for seven years, i'm sure you know their
software is free but the cable costs around $15.

Hope this helps.
