Re: [IP] carb/ratios??? - lowfat milk

I used 2% milk more to show how specific you could be with the cookbook
program. As to whether children should be drinking low fat milk - I would
think would depend on the age and the physical condition of the child. I was
given whole milk growing up and as a result never drank milk. I hated it. It
seemed to hang in my throat. Skim and 1% I can tolerate. Then there are so
many heavy kids today that any decrease in fat content would probably be
positive. Then there were studies for a while that said we should not be
drinking milk anyway. Of the 5 siblings in my family we had 2 major water
drinkers and 3 major milk drinkers. The milk drinkers had ear infections as
kids and pimples as teens. The water drinkers did not.

put 2 slices white bread, 2 T jelly, 2 T peanut butter, 1/2 cup grapes, 1 oz
potato chips, 8 oz 2% milk. >>

the fat to develop their brains. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can have
some input here. Children need the best nutrition while growing. (~_^)
