[IP] "a diabetic" vs. "diabetic"

I agree with you Matt.  I have, since diagnosed in 1964, always been bothered
by being called a diabetic.  It does define me for some people and it is not
appropriate to use the term if someone prefers that you don't.  I often
correct people when they refer to me as such and have for years.  It is
something I am sensitive about and I cringe as well.
