[IP] Re: Neuropathy and dilantin

Did you take 400 mg 3x/day and then taper down to 400 mg 2x/day, etc?

No, - that would have been 1200 mgs a day. ;) I think I took 200 in the
a.m.(bkfst) and 200 in the p.m. (supper) for a couple of years. I don't
recall (Hillary Syndrome) how I took the 300 (3 capsules), but I'm positive
it wasn't all together. The 2 were a.m./p.m. and the one was a.m.

Some meds are dangerous to quit cold turkey so when I tapered off, I had one
(100 mgs) every other day for a couple of weeks. I took Dilantin for about
17-18 years. I'm just taking the 200 mgs. of B6 now - and can tell the diff.
if I don't.
