RE: [IP] Animas IR1000 or Deltec Cozmo

You point is taken, and I didn't want to start anything either. It's just
that the first model of most products have some 'undocumented features' aka
'bugs'. The Cosmo sounds like the best thing out there, but it doesn't
matter how good they are at something else, one should be somewhat skeptical
of the first generation of a new model. Next year, once they have proven
their wiz-bang pump is all it's cracked up to be, let's talk. I truly hope
it is everything that has been hyped.

And I am impressed that so many of the Deltec reps have recently joined this
list. It allows them to keep a finger on the pulse of the pump market and
maybe answer some questions.

I'm not trying to start anything here, but you need to look into your
facts
about Deltec before stating the things you stated. Deltec has thousands of
pump wearers walking around the world. Pumps being used for other meds, but
pumps none the less. And some even have the Deltec pump implanted. This
company has been around and in the infusion business for over 25 years
atleast, so to say that their customer service and reliability is
undetermined is incorect information. They have that and then some!

And NO I do not not now or probably never will be an employee of this
company. But I know what I have read and what my son's endo told us this
past summer after seeing these guys in action!!
